Pulp Art!

i want to start a monthly art jam... maybe eventually bi monthly but for now this is all i can promise.

how it will work is i guess like this.. each month (ill try and do it somewhere between the 1st-5th of the month ) ill pic a subject, maybe a couple at a time and let people post there art responses on the thread here.. i will also post my own.

even tho it was over shadowed by the dark knight release i really liked the new hellboy movie.. so my choice is HELLBOY SKETCHES!

by august 31st everyone should have one in so i can pick a new topic that next week.

i will post one as an example and will prolly do another before the deadline.. SO

have fun! i cant wait to see who all posts.

I like your idea for the ArtJam, I already have a hellboy sketch but I will try t do another one it's just that I'm in the middle of another project. So, if I don't have time for another sketch I will cheat and use the one I already have. Again, relly liked the idea and you can count me in.

If I get a chance to do one, should I just add it to my gallery and let you know or attach it here?

Hellboy-Father and Son.jpg

Last week I went to the comic book store like every other week, one of the books I picked up was cable #5. I've been trying to think what to draw for the Hellboy ArtJam, when I looked at the cover of cable #5 I thought it didn't show a lot of emotion in the characters but worked great. It was an image that didn't need emotion, all it said was here's my son and here's my father. I thought it was perfect for hellboy. Although this is not one of my best drawings or the lack of detail I think it turn out pretty good, I think this image works better without a lot of detail.

hey man nicely done. its always cool to find inspirado in other peoples art works. im constantly looking to other artists to get my blood pumpin for some pencil to paper action.. i should have my new sketch up in the next day or so..

and im hoping to see some more people post in here.. its a shame how small the group is cause of response time.. but its kinda cool at the same time cause its easier to get to know everyone.

thanks for droppin some lines homez

I like it 2....especially the way you draw muscles and the way you exaggerate bodyparts and still make a cool drawing like Joe madureira,etc...Keep up the good work.

Shifting and relocation to new location is not fun chore. It is troublesome task, daunting and also time consuming. Several processes are included in these processes which are risky at the same time brain teasing. So it needs lots of attentions, car…
