Did you try "noise" textures...a little bit would give your snow texture fine... You could smudge some blue into it with the tools...well it's only an idea lol

just need to separate your layers.... and you'll have a blast and it's very simple after that with PS
my comic will soon go up the shiga mountains in Japan where there's snow and to add texture to the snow i'll use something i use a lot to give texture... (NOISE) ...you play with the noise and it can give you very nice effect.
cool..the colors look a bit like wood crayola crayons (makes it different) I kinda like it...

I've studied Comic book drawing in college...
I don't do much American comic style anymore...I transformed my style into something of my own. A mix of american and manga with a touch of caricature exaggeration in it.
Some like..some don't.. I like it and do it for myself.
I work from pencil,to ink and color it all with Photoshop after.

- Dark horse Star Wars, Code Name Stryke Force, WildCats, The Crow, Razor, Elektra , Most of Jim Lee's comic , Witchblade, and so much more... I enjoy some manga's too.. Dark or regular mangas.. That's why my style is a bit between both at the same time.

Yes...i used the "noise" option to get snow in my firts attempt but i was not 100% OK with it.I try to smudge some blue in it.Thx for the reply.
